As the original Hop Inn this was Swindon’s first micropub and began the real ale revival in Devizes Road. Now known as the Pulpit this small, quirky pub has five hand pumps offering a constantly changing range with regional breweries often featuring. There is also wide range of beer in a fridge.

There is no kitchen, but rolls and hot snacks, such as pasties, are available. Music on Wednesday evenings.
