This Mid-19th-century local exists in splendid isolation. It has a nationally important historic pub interior with a small cosy bar with furniture that probably goes back to the 1850s. There is also small lounge with easy chairs and piano. The bar features four real ales including two changing guests, normally from local breweries. It has a campsite with full facilities that make it a good venue for meetings and rallies.
