The Horseshoe Inn sits in 2 acres of landscaped gardens right in the centre of Mildenhall. It is a typical village pub run by a proud and determined landlord in the face of the cocktail of difficulty society places on isolated, rural publicans, It has a charming brick built façade under a thatch roof with a the rear extension for dining which creates a nice open feel internally. The 40 cover restaurant is complimented by a 16 seat private dining room. It’s a destination pub for groups from all over. As well as their own house beer 'Horseshoe' (4.2% abv) the regular beer is Sharp's Doombar. It has a 5 star food rating, standard pub type menu (home cooked) not the cheapest I've seen, but the portions are generous. The 3 rooms are reasonably priced.
