This popular village pub is locally owned and run. Parts of the thatched Grade II listed building date from the 15th century. Inside it combines traditional wooden beams with a light, open appearance. The decor, including a huge model of the Cutty Sark, is of nautical or local interest. There are up to four real ales, some of them locally sourced. An extensive food menu makes use of local sourced ingredients. Theme nights and live music occasionally.
