This popular real ale pub is much older than its Victorian appearance suggests. The interior has two rooms with a divider splitting them at the bar. There are 12 handpumps, but currently the beer range is 7 with 8 on the weekend. The real ales are an ever changing mixture of regional breweries and some from further afield.

No food available, but the pub is community hub with regular activities - Monday is Darts night, Tuesday Poker, Wednesday Crib, Thursday Quiz/open Mic. and there is a meat raffle on Sunday.
