Swindon Real Ale Trail leads from Swindon Railway Station (5 minutes walk from the Bus Station) to Old Town - or vice versa.

Take a bus or taxi to Old Town and walk back downhill, or walk straight to the first pub as soon as you arrive in the town and walk up. The 1.6 mile (2.6km) long trail would take about 40 minutes to walk without stopping at any pubs.
